Anine Bing is a brand named after the woman herself who I have been following for probably almost a year now. I love the clean cuts and colour palette and the overall vibe it gives. The price range is also not unrealistically expensive but definitely in the range of having to save up for, especially as a full-time student (cries on the inside). What I really like about her and her brand is that she really started this brand herself. She started as a model and realised how her love for clothes grew stronger and stronger. What she also realised is that every woman should be able to have a wardrobe that includes luxury staples, and timeless pieces for every occasion. I think that lots of brands might already have that ethos but she is really injecting this idea into her collections in my opinion.

Another thing I really love about her is that she wears her clothes herself. She is extremely active on Instagram, and not because she is constantly posting about brand deals. She constantly shows how she wears and combines the clothes herself and how to combine a statement designer bag with her more affordable clothes.

As I went on the New York Trip I was super excited to visit her store in Soho and it was better than I even expected. It was really large and there was loads of open space filled with her clothes but also Photographs from Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn which are among her style icons.

One photograph, in particular, was by Terry O'Neill who she recently collaborated with. There are only a few original photographs in selected stores all over the world and I was lucky to see one in the Soho store.

I overall was so excited to be able to visit her store in New York as I really admire her and her brand. I think she is a great example of a successful online and retail balance.
