Last week me and my group did the final photo-shoot for the exhibition where the final three images from each group were being displayed. We planned to do it on a more grainy foggy day as our plan was to have some surrealist makeup looks applied onto the model and that would enhance the overall aesthetic and theme of the shoot. We collected some makeup palettes from different members of our group and tried to create some looks that we planned beforehand onto images of the model that we printed a few days before the shoot.

Overall we had 7 different locations that were all spread out over Nottingham Trent campus that gave us a good variety of backgrounds and textures to play with for the model.

As it was extremely cold on this day, to be exact it was -1 degrees, we had to be very quick while shooting as the model was only wearing a tank top. As the shooting had to be quick, some images came out to be a bit blurry or distorted which we used as an advantage as one of our main themes was surrealism and that enhances it with this kind of look that the image is getting sucked into something, almost like a tunnel ( See Fig.2). The next location was at a tram stop where we shot the images through a glass to play with light and texture (See Fig.3). These photos were also taken when it started getting darker so we experimented with using flash as well (See Fig.4).

For our final exhibition we chose an images from each makeup look as it had to be three and thought that they harmonised well together.
