Experimentation with Colour

In last weeks seminar, we were given the task to create different layouts using a colour, a word, and an image of our choice. I chose an image that matched my current trend story which is Rebel. I also opted for a nude colour as I like more minimal shades and wanted the image and word to stand more than the colour.

For the image, I chose a male model with earrings and a choker that looks like chains and a for the word I chose "Fearless". I chose this combination in particular as I think rebellion these days is a lot about gender identity and equality.

These days in many countries people from the LGBTQ community still have to fight for their rights and get discriminated on a daily basis. With my edits, I wanted to show how this is a current rebellion topic and needs to be taken more seriously, especially by the older generations.

Overall I hope to improve my Powerpoint skills and continue experimenting with colour and image as it is fun and easy to learn. If you are a beginner in the graphics world and want to start creating layouts I can highly recommend using Powerpoint as it is easier than Adobe Illustrator and can also look professional yet aesthetical at the same time.
