Season 2 of the popular Netflix series "You" has started and everyone is freaking out about how cute and charming Joe Goldberg is.

I have watched season 1 of the series and really liked it to be completely honest but I can not get over the fact that a serial killer is being called cute and charming. The whole glorification around his character seems very odd and scary in some way. The question now is though, who to blame? Do we blame Netflix for writing a script for a serial killer who's character is extremely charming yet extremely obsessive and creepy, or do we blame the people who are making it seem like that his disturbing behaviour of obsession and killing innocent people can be ignored by his handsomeness and smooth personality. I think this show can have some serious impact on people as it portrays stalking and obsession as something normal and making it seem like that if he has a nice personality and cares for someone that it does not matter if he is a stalker or worse, a serial killer. This is a very complicated discussion topic which I thought might be nice to share on here and see who's on which side of this whole spectacle. All in all, the show is good, very addicting and slightly disturbing but still worth a watch.
