Omg, I'm flying to New York in two days and I have never felt so stressed in my life before going on a (holiday). My tutors keep repeating that this is a research trip which is obvious, but still I am flying to the big apple for the first time in my life and can not feel excited as I am stressed out to the maximum. Summative Project, research brief, bank problems, life problems, and so on goes the list. I feel like I am in a midlife crisis... with 20?! I can already hear all the baby boomers laughing at me. These kids these days with their first world problems. At least you have a roof over your head and an education. Well yes, I am thankful for everything I have and all these exciting things that are happening in my life but there is always a dark side to these things as well. Why do all these celebrities die with 27 from a drug overdose? Because life and people suck. They use you and your feelings and abuse them. But hey I'm going to New York, right? I should be smiling and posting a list of the top 5 places I want to visit in 5 days. So there goes my list.

1. Try to visit as many places from the How I Met Your Mother series. This tv show was part of my childhood. In Germany they still play this tv show every day in the afternoon as it is.... wait for it... LEGENDARY ( I do not care if you have not watched it and will not get this)

2. Chrysler Building. I'm a really big fan of the Art Deco movement and this building is basically the definition of Art Deco architecturally as well as the interior.

3. Iconic Magazines. This store apparently has very rare fashion magazines which I am a sucker for and definitely will have to check out.

4. Karma Bookstore. A bookstore that offers books of emerging artists that are being hosted at their sister gallery next door, which is a win-win. And supporting the local emerging community is always a plus.

5. Procell vintage shop. This shop supposedly offers some of the best vintage gems and vintage shopping is always a must.

So this is my list for now. There will probably be a lot more added to it but my course is only going for 5 days so I will try and be as productive as possible while not panicking half of the time.
