Outcomes, Outcomes, Outcomes

The past weekend I went to London which has it's good and bad side effects. The good thing was that I got loads of inspiration and primary research but the bad effect is that I did not get as much work done as I wanted because there is just too much to do and explore. As we are currently at the outcome stage of my module I tried to find outcomes around London that I think turned out very well. One of my favourite outcomes I found was the Gucci Mural in one of the more creative and artsy districts of London, Shoreditch. This is something that Gucci has been doing for a while now in cities such as New York, Milan, Hong Kong, and to my luck also in London.

As these murals always change regarding what is currently the newest release or collection by Gucci, I was able to see this mural which promoted the brands newest perfume, Gucci Memoire where celebrity Harry Styles who has been working with the brand for quite a while now, has been featured into the mural as well.
What I like about this outcome especially is the fact that the world we live in now today is extremely digitalised and screen-addicted and Gucci is turning their back on this idea by only promoting their things through billboards that show an advert for a few seconds and automatically forget about it but also having it painted by their very talented illustrator Ignasi Monreal. Seeing this mural also in such a large scale really intrigued me and I think Gucci is really smart by connecting art and fashion to create this really creative outcome.
