The past weeks we have been given a colour to work with and think about its meaning in media, fashion, culture, and history. My colour was pink which I was first not too happy about as I personally do not own many pink pieces in my wardrobe, to be specific I own one pink jacket which I have not worn in years. Thinking about the colour more I started to research into it and was quite happy about it as it is quite a controversial colour. As we are approaching 2020 and gender-neutral fashion is growing drastically I looked into how male celebrities are exploring with pink tones in their fashion and was surprised how musicians and actors who could come off as quite masculine are being very openminded and experimental with their choice of colour and add pink into their wardrobe. One musician in particular who has been exploring with gender-neutral fashion especially in the past years is Harry Styles.

After he left One Direction he changed the genre of his music and created a whole new look which I admire. He seems more mature and is open with his sexuality which in an interview he says ``doesn't want to put a label on''. On stage, he often rocks pink suits from Gucci, who he has been working with for quite a while now.

Actor Jason Momoa who is known for his very masculine role as Aquaman has also shown that he can still look as cool and confident in a baby pink suit that he wore at the Oscars this year. In an interview, he stated that ``wearing pink should not be considered a woman`s thing only anymore``.

I think it is great that someone like him who is usually seen as this very typical superhero masculine figure speaks up on this topic of gender-neutral fashion and is giving a great example for other men who might have been scared to explore with this fun colour.
